UPCOMING YWTF-NYC EVENTS
May 2008 General Membership Meeting: General Interest Meeting
The General Interest Meeting is an opportunity for new members or anyone interested in the YWTF to learn about the YWTF and find out about upcoming events and programs. We will be answering questions about the group and registering people for committees around the following events:

- National Survey
- Voting Vixens
A voter education and registration program focusing on civic engagement.
- Rock for Younger Women
2nd Annual spoken word and rock concert at the Knitting Factory.

Alexis Knox Fellowship
The Alexis Knox Fellowship is an innovative national program designed to support Younger Women as they build their leadership capacity and support the YWTF community. The 12 month fellowship will be awarded to 1-3 YWTF members. Selected fellows will receive a grant from the Alexis Knox Fellowship Fund to support leadership-building activities through individual and collaborative projects. Fellows are encouraged to pursue activities that enhance their public leadership skills, reach diverse constituencies, build community, and strive for tangible skills building.
