A discussion group for moms interested in exploring the connection between the roles of motherhood and the principles of feminism. This is a welcoming group in a warm and friendly space. This group is for women and men who are interested in feminist issues. We will have meetings on various topics including: women's empowerment, equal rights, portrayal of women in the media, relationships, activism, medical/reproductive laws etc. Some of our meetings will be informal social gatherings, discussion groups, guest speakers and panel forums. We will also include some activism in the form of social posting and activist blogging.
